Wlodzimierz Ledóchowski, S.J. (1866 - 1942)

Let us introduce another Pole in the interesting history of Jospeh Retinger's life. General Wlodzmierz Ledóchowski, General of the Society of Jesus, the Jesuits. 

In the earlier quoted letter from Ms. Taverne to Dr. Ian Paisley's magazine "The Revivalist" a close contact from Joseph Retinger with father Ledóchowski is assumed. Without any doubt those great Poles must have known about each other and possibly they even knew each other personally.  Also without any doubt father Lédochowski will definitely have played his role as a mediator in World War I and it is very well possible that Retinger was a liaison. 

Apart from Ms. Taverne's letter I did nof find any connection yet between the General and Joseph Retinger, but it is safe to assume there was one. Both being Polish from the same region, both being involved in affairs with world wide magnitude, both operating in the same time frame.

Poland (966 - 1922)

Poland as we know it today has a long and rich history with ups and downs like any other country in the world. Thinking of Poland two things come up in my mind. The first one is connected to the role Poland had in the falling apart of the Soviet Union. The second one has to do with the strange role of the country during World War II, being used by the Germans as the base for their "Endlösung", the final solution.  Having seen, years ago, Alan J. Pakula's dramatic movie Sophie's choice, I cannot help to think that "the final solution" initially might have been a Polish solution and that therefore it might not be totally coincidental that Poland played such an import role in "the final solution". 

The borders of Poland as it is today were more or less established about 1000 years ago. The baptizing of Miezco I in 966 is seen as the start of Poland. Miezco's wars might have been inspired by greed but his religion is the message he wanted to broadcast: he christianized Poland. Before he died he gifted the state to the Pope and in return Rome gave Papal protection as described in the "Dagome Iudex" and reserved the rights for reigning Poland to Miezco's second wife and sons. Nevertheless, it was the son born out of the first marriage, Boleslaw I, who kept Poland together by expelling Miesco's second wife and sons, and, after some wars Boleslaw I became the first king of Poland short before he died in 1025.

Boleslaw's son, Miezco II, was king for 9 years and had troubles keeping the country together. He died in 1034 under suspicious circumstances. From 1037 till 1058 the country was unified again and stable under king Casimir I.

Casimir's son, Boleslaw II, crowned himself king in 1076 after having reigned Poland as a Duke for 18 years. But due to conflicts with Polish landlords he had to abdicate and to hand over power to his brother Wladyslaw I Herman in 1079. Wladyslaw abdicted to his two sons, Zbigniew and Boleslaw III in 1102. Boleslaw reunited the country and effectively got rid of his brother in 1107. He defended Poland with success against the Holy Roman Empire (remember: they lost power with Boleslaw I when he kicked out the second wife of his father). Before his death, Boleslaw III split the country into 5 principalities (Silezia, Greater Poland, Mazovia, Sandomir and Kraków) to be devided under his 4 sons. The oldest, Wladislaw II, got 2 principalities and the power to represent the whole of Poland.

Wladislaw II wants to be sole reigner and seeks the help of the Church. But as a division of Poland would get the Church into a stronger position, this is the beginning of the fragmentation of Poland. And although the Duke of Kraków in theory had the power to reign, Poland was no longer a solid political entity in the 13th century.

In 1241 the area suffered a Mongol invasion, after which a Germanization of important parts of formar Poland started. Crusades in other parts of Europe resulted in severe persecution of Jews but in Poland they were protected by law, even against the common  slander, through the whole of Europe, that they were committing ritual murders.

Rich Germans living in the towns of formar Poland increased their power and influence. With their help Leszek II got the power over Kraków from 1278 till 1288 and after him Henryk IV from 1289 till 1290. The Polonization, the wish to make Poland Polish again, was a reaction on this.

Thanks to heritance, secret agreements and help of the Church, between 1278 and 1295, Przemysl II was crowned king over Poland in 1295 by the Archbishop of Gniezno. Poland was reunited again and under the control of Rome. Although one year later the king was kidnapped and killed by other people under direct control of Rome, the Electors of Brandenburg, the kingdom Poland would exist for nearly 500 years.

As in 1492 Jews were expelled from Spain and subsequently from other areas in Europe, Poland became a safe haven for many of them. By the midth of the 16th century about 80 % of the world population of Jews were claimed to have lived in Poland, making it the center of the Jewish world, creating their own Jewish culture in Poland, permitted to have their own leader and their own no-go areas for Christians, allowed to raise their own taxes of which 70% had to be paid to the official government for protection, and living in prosperity next to the original Polish citizens.

In 1648 the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (started in 1410) was falling apart, partly as the consequence of the Khmelnytsky uprising. Khmelnytsky, a Jesuit from Ukrainian origin, lead the military operation that was the result of many things, some of them being the envy against the Polish-Jewish welfare and the stimulated feeling of being exploited.

When the Swedish invasion, known as "The Deluge" began in 1655, Poland's golden age ended and the country slowly degraded into anarchy giving eventually space to a partition of the old Commonwealth between Prussia, Russia and Habsburg Austria. The partitions found place in 1772, 1793 and 1795.

After this, the Poles every now and then tried to get back into control and to regain their independance. They were counting on Napolean who recreated a Polish state in 1807 but when Napoleon lost his battle at Waterloo in 1815, their hope vanished again and Poland was split up another time. Europe was redesigned during the Congress of Vienna and Poland came under the control of Russia and Prussia, while later the Austrian controlled Galicia became the centre of Polish cultural life.

In this timeframe we meet Joseph Conrad,  Count Wladyslaw Zamoyski, the young Jospeh Retinger and the spirit to live one day again in a free and independent Poland which eventually was established in 1922, after World War I as the second Polish Republic.

Intermezzo

From a chess point of view I might already have been using too much intermezzos, in music this would be my first one. Maybe a better word would have been recapitulation.

I started with the olympic games having the intention to demonstrate that the true power of the USA is in marketing. Marketing only the results makes people forget about the true position, being a lot less interesting than the number of medals.

To cover myself for the things I was going to put on this blog I had a chat about freedom of speech, information and the search for information. But the real goal I had was to reveal a different view on the Russian-Georgian war. Involving some historical facts, putting a different light on them, I tried to make my point: the USA is cheating and is preparing a new cold war to distract attention from their real problems.

With the example of 9/11 I try to create more doubt about the US intentions but with a combination of names I involve conspiracy theories that might even lead to the Netherlands as the center of all evil. The Bilderberg Group is introduced.

Then I start my search to the founders and motives of the Bilderberg group and find an interesting man that I want to know more about: Joseph Retinger. Through Retinger I am tempted again to have a look at a conspiracy theory related to the Jesuits and the search for Retinger makes me aware of the past of Europe.

To continue from the point where I am now, I need to know more about Poland and I do not know what tracks will show up that I have to follow before I move with Retinger to Spain. 

And at the same time I am filling this Blog, the world is suffering a financial crisis that might bring us back to Retinger's younger years. Can I resist the temptation involving this crisis in my posts?

Conspiracy theories (2)

Was Joseph Retinger used in a Jesuit conspiracy to achieve their goals or were Jesuits used by Joseph Retinger to achieve his goals? Might it have been a win-win situation?

To those who might conclude from my earlier posts that I am going to find proof about a Jesuit manipulation towards a new world order, I have to say that they should go and look somewhere else.

True, I have copied and pasted from and even linked to some conspiracy thinkers, but only with the objective to find out the influences that have been working on Joseph Retinger. I am trying to find the motivation for his acts, I am trying to find out what made Joseph Retinger the man who can be held responsible for a European Union and a Bilderberg Group. I do not believe in the creation of a new world order as his objective, although the consequences of his work might be leading to it.  

I am not going to hold a group of 20.000 people responsible for the creation of a new world order using Retinger as one of their instruments. The Jesuits might have the goal to conquer the world, it would even be senseless to deny it. They have always been very open about their mission:  to bring the message of Jesus to all the people of this world. The Jesuits are known for their intelligence and you probably will never win a discussion with one of them. Their goal is their power, they will convince you about their truth. I have known quite some people who were educated by Jesuits, Belgium is full of them. And it is true that many people that were educated by Jesuits achieve higher positions in life than others. But like in sports, well trained people will achieve better results. 

It might be a nice game to link the Jesuits to the Jews, Freemasons, Rotary, Lions and Bilderberg Group and without any doubt you will find a lot of links. Using these links as proof for a conspiracy would not only be not fair, it would be an insult to many great and well intending people who really have tried to make this world a better one.

And this does not mean that all members of forementioned organizations are good and well intending people, nor does it mean that Joseph Retinger was not part of some conspiracy or that Jesuits are not involved in any conspiracy.

Wladyslaw Zamoyski (1853-1924)

Wladyslaw Zamoyski was the "godfather" of Joseph Retinger. Wladyslaw Zamoyski was of noble origin and was a spokesman for property owners in Greater Poland. He was not only a devoted patriot but also a very devout catholic. 

His protegee Retinger wrote about him: 

"If ever there was a saint on earth Zamoyski was one. Ascetic to the point of sleeping on bare boards until his death at the age of sixty-six, he never spent an unnecessary penny on himself, at the same time distributing his whole enormous revenues anonymously - sometimes through me as an intermediary - for charitable ends. When Poland was reborn he offered his whole fortune to public institutions; hundreds of thousands of acres of land, factories, palaces, fabulous collections of art, a famed library, reserving for himself until he died just one room... Fanatically self-sacrificing, he never married, because he dedicated his life to the purpose he cared for; the service of his country and his religion."

And he also wrote:

"One of the most handsome men of his generation,' he continues, 'he was so strong that I once saw him stop a carriage drawn by four horses by catching its wheel with his bare hands."

This makes clear a couple of things. Joseph Retinger was a great admirer of the man who protected him after the death of his father. He exagerated as the child he must have been when his father died by giving Zamoyski super power.  Another thing that becomes clear is that Zamoyski was a self-sacrificing and deep religious man who never married.

Some things will have to be verified. The rebirth of Poland and the charitable goals that made him give away everything but one room. Also it is not clear to me when and where Retinger made his statements about Zamoyski. And what about Zamoyski's death at 66? Didn't he die at the age of 70? I have the feeling that earlier mentioned quotes cannot be trusted.

What is clear to me is how Retinger almost certainly must have been under the influence of devout catholics from the moment of his birth. Maybe it were Jesuits, but I have a reason tho believe it were Franciscans. It looks to me like he was a chosen person. Chosen to play his role in the liberation of "Greater" Poland. 

Servant leadership

How to describe the power of Joseph Retinger? Simply put it can be described as servant leadership.

What is servant leadership? Let's have a look in Wikipedia:

"Servant-leadership emphasizes the leader's role as steward of the resources (human, financial and otherwise) provided by the organization . It encourages leaders to serve others while staying focused on achieving results in line with the organization's values and integrity."

Leaders that serve others while staying focused on achieving results.....

Okay, Retinger was clearly focused on a result and I am sure that when he died in 1960 he knew that the work was not done. But being a serving leader he must have known that others were going to continue where he had to stop.

I did not invent Servant Leadership, Robert Greenleaf seems to have invented it. In 1958. But he was honest and said that he got the idea based on a work from Hermann Hesse: Journey to the East, published in 1932.

Actually, I believe that servant leadership is the type of leadership Ignatius had in mind. Is it a coincidence that searching with Google for the combination of jezuits and servant leadership gives about 9.500 hits? And how about this link to a dutch Jesuit website: 23 Jesuit scholars discussing about servant leadership. And, translated back from dutch to english, the quotes from their General Adolfo Nicolàs (the black pope) during that meeting: “ Good leadership is in the love for being a servant" and "When Jezuits succeed in good cooperation, succes always is guaranteed". Adolfo Nicolás is a new general. The previous general was dutch. Are we really that powerful?

Joseph Retinger definitely was a brilliant student and as a devout catholic he could not have said it better. But he did better: he served and lead the world into a new era: Europe was born.

His mission did not stop with the birth of Europe. The Bilderberg reunion was organised to find a way to change the negative image that was rising in Europe on the USA.

I am puzzled again. Retinger was a Polish Patriot. The freedom of his country was prevalent and yet he goes further, significantly further. Might this have been caused by the bond between Poland and the Soviet Union?

The power of the word

A picture is worth a thousand words. A well chosen symbol can be used to summarise a culture. Our western world has chosen the cross to symbolise its culture. We find it in many flags, we find it in many organisations. The cross can be seen as a symbol for the four elements or as a symbol for the meeting of the devine with the world but is mostly known as a symbol for christianity. A Roman device for torturing people became the symbol for religions based on the life of Jesus.

According to the Bible, the symbol of the cross itself was not powerful enough, not even with the body of Jesus hanging on it. In John 19:19 /19:22 is explained how Pilatus added the words: "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews" to the symbol. Some of the Jewish high priests did not agree and wanted him to change the words but Pilatus ended the discussion with:"What I have written, I have written". According to the story it was written in Hebrew, Latin and Greek.

Many think that the abbreviation INRI was put on the cross, but John's story makes clear that it was the intention to be read by the people. But were the people from Jerusalem so well educated? There were Roman soldiers, but what were Greeks doing there? Anyway, INRI was never put on the cross.

It is not even sure that John was right. Matthew says it was: "This is Jesus, the King of the Jews", Luke claims it was: "This is the King of the Jews" and Mark wants us to believe it simply was "King of the Jews". Were things lost in translation?

Nevertheless, many of us know the cross with the abbreviation INRI and believe it was put there by the Romans.

The game with abbreviations is a game we all like to play. Many false abbreviations are known and became truth afterwards. SABENA was "Such A Bad Experience, Never Again!" and indeed, never again. IBM became "I Blame Microsoft", and so on.

I don't know who started with abbreviations, I don't know when they became fashion, I don't know who started with the abbreviation INRI. But somewhere somehow someone decided to make it part of the symbol. And someone somehow gave it another meaning:

It was (according to John): Iesvs Nazarenvs Rex Ivdaeorvm or Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaerorum (the latin version only?)

It became (according to others): Ivstvm Necar Reges Impivs or Iustum Necar Reges Impius.

From the statement "King of the Jews" to a justification for wars: "It is right to destroy those who do not respect". In combination with the cross this means clearly that it is right to destroy those who do not respect the cross but it is the believe of many preachers that it is right to destroy those who are thinking different. This message is also very clear in the Bhagavad Gita, standard work for Hindus and looking for it, I am sure that I will find it in the Torah, the Bible and the Koran too.

By the way, "Iustum Necar Reges Impius" is believed to be part of the holy oath that Jesuits have to undersign with their own blood, taken above their hart with a dagger.

“Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop -- thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times what was sown.” -- Mark4:20

The power of the word and if you don't see it our way, we will use the sword. But as history learned, words might be shorter than swords but are significantly mightier: "The pen is mightier than the sword".

Oops, biblical stories to understand Joseph Retinger. Do I have to go back to the life of Ignatius (Iñigo Lopez de Loyola) to understand it all? One thing is sure, looking at their websites, Jesuits really love abbreviations.

Enoch Arnold Bennett (1867 - 1931)

Arnold Bennett was one of the many artists that Joseph Retinger surrounded himself with. They met in Paris in the areas that both Bennett and Retinger liked to frequent.

Arnold Bennett was the man that brought Retinger in contact with Joseph Conrad.

In the first World War, Arnold Bennett was appointed to Director of Propaganda, or if I may translate it with my own words, worked in service of manipulation. He refused knighthood after the war.

Joseph Retinger was with Joseph Conrad on a visit in Poland when the war started. Conrad with some problems went to Austria, Retinger back to France. During the war Retinger seemed to have tried to influence the Austrian Kaisers to finish their relationship with the Germans. Franz Joseph I and Karl I were not very pleased with his interventions. You should not mess around with the Habsburg family! Retinger was no longer welcome in Austria, the Germans wanted him dead and he was no longer welcome in Great Britain. Retinger also did not feel safe anymore in France and moved to Spain.

Here I am lost. Retinger, a man with so many friends, a man who knows how to pull the strings lost it for a while? And how come that afterwards relations are restored again? Retinger, a devout catholic, in conflict with the Habsburg family? The Habsburg family being one of the most important families in the defence of Roman Catholisism? Retinger not welcome in Britain and only a few years later working closely together with them? Having Arnold Bennett as a close friend and not being welcome in Britain?

Was this a cover up operation? Was the move to Spain needed for learning the language? Was Retinger's next step to Mexico carefully planned?

Most people sleep themselves stupid

The Project Gutenberg is a project of inestimable value. What you can read for free is beyond imagination. In one of the works that can be found online, Arnold Bennett paraphrases his doctor who claims that most people sleep themselves stupid.

In his work "How to Live on 24 Hours a Day" (for free available on Project Gutenberg) Bennett addresses himself to the white collar workers. The work, if transposed to modern times, could easily be a manual to self-improvement even today.

One of his (outdated) remedies against the stupidity caused by sleeping too much is:

"Rise an hour, an hour and a half, or even two hours
earlier; and--if you must--retire earlier when you can.
In the matter of exceeding programmes, you will
accomplish as much in one morning hour as in two
evening hours. "But," you say, "I couldn't begin without
some food, and servants."  Surely, my dear sir, in an
age when an excellent spirit-lamp (including a saucepan)
can be bought for less than a shilling, you are not going
to allow your highest welfare to depend upon the
precarious immediate co-operation of a fellow creature!
Instruct the fellow creature, whoever she may be, at
night.  Tell her to put a tray in a suitable position
over night.
On that tray two biscuits, a cup and saucer, a box of
matches and a spirit-lamp; on the lamp, the saucepan;
on the saucepan, the lid--but turned the wrong way up;
on the reversed lid, the small teapot, containing a minute
quantity of tea leaves.  You will then have to strike a
match--that is all. In three minutes the water boils, and
you pour it into the teapot (which is already warm).
In three more minutes the tea is infused. You can begin
your day while drinking it. These details may seem trivial
to the foolish, but to the thoughtful they will not seem
trivial.  The proper, wise balancing of one's whole life
may depend upon the feasibility of a cup of tea at an
unusual hour."

Just secretaries ?

Joseph (Józef) Retinger keeps me awake. A man that changed the maps of europe, a man with an adventurous life and with a gift to get in contact with anyone he wanted to be in contact with.

Little details I can find about him without having to start reading his biography written by his secretary and friend Jan Pomian (also known as John). Although I am sure it is an interesting work, I am also sure that "Memoirs of an eminence grise" is not going to tell me what I want to know. Neither will Pomian's other books about Retinger.

Pomian was secretary to Retinger, Retinger was secretary to Joseph Conrad. If I see Pomian as a product of Retinger, than I can see Retinger as a product of Conrad. But only seeing him as a product of Conrad would dishonour Retinger too much. Retinger was a damned intelligent man, was with 20 the youngest PHd in political sciences at the Sorbonne of his time (and maybe even today) and other influences than Conrad's must have played an important role in his life.

What I can find out about his roots is that his father was ..... a secretary. A secretary, counsel and legal adviser to the polish Count Wladyslaw Zamoyski. Untill today I didn't know much more about Poland than that they were highly involved in the liberation of the Netherlands and more specific in the liberation of my hometown Breda. With digging into Retinger's life it seems to be needed to dig into Poland's history. Maybe I will understand what brought Retinger to the Sorbonne in France by studying Poland's history.

The Count became a very important man in Joseph Retingers life. Maybe he already was from the beginning, but he surely became important at the moment Joseph's father died. From that moment on, Jospeh was 10 or 11, the Count raised Retinger.

Retinger then joined a seminary. He wanted to become a priest. With the nice excuse that he prefered the world of love for women above the love for god, Joseph Retinger changed his path. But at that moment the Jezuits from the seminary must already have had an enormous impact on his way of thinking. They prepared him for his studies, they did a hell of a job!

An interesting biography about Joseph Retinger is written by Jan Chciuk-Celt, the son of a polish war hero known as "Sulima". The connection between Retinger and Jans' father can be found in "Operation Wildhorn III". Thanks to the personal interest that Jan took in his father's relationship with Joseph Retinger, we can learn a little bit more about Retinger. A "devout" catholic, a highly motivated patriot, a freedomfighter for Poland, the hero in the eyes of a hero.

Sometimes people think they can just change a name and write it the way they would prefer it. Józef than becomes Joseph. I will do some searching on that name too, maybe I will find new sources.

I want more, I have a hunch and I want to find proof or denial.

Google surprises again

No, it is not really Google. I am surprised by the fact that the post about Retinger from just some hours ago is already ranked in Google's search results on the 18th place. How can a man like Retinger be so unpopular?

In short he is held responsible for the establishment of the European Union and before that of the Benelux. But he is also the mastermind behind the Bilderberg Group. The mighty of the world were his friends and one post of me shows up on the second page of Google's search engine.

I am truly surprised.

Józef Hieroniem Retinger (1888-1960)

The man intrigues me. How can one single man have been of so great importance and be so invisible? He was clearly able to pull some strings!

Looking for more information about Retinger I found an open letter to Margaret Thatcher published in "The Revivalist" (the Official Organ of the Free Presbyterian Church in Ulster mostly known because or Dr Ian Paisley. In the September issue of 1979 following letter was published:

Madam,

Much interested, we over here learned about your victory and as Christians we hope that it will be one like Deborah's in Old Testament times, as the men are forsaking their duties. And due to a long series of misgovernments, the once so-called Christian countries of the West have fallen into the hands of socialists in a very bad way whereas the European Movement which is working hard to restrict national power and have it handed over as much as possible to a European Parliament, is actually socialistic as for its main founders.

EUROPE

Please excuse me for writing you mainly on the topic of "Europe" as I found that we and you, the Dutch and the British, have been betrayed and sold out to a supernational power which originally claimed to be just economically working, but of which already Walter Hallstein said that they were in for politics, not for business! Anyway, I had the said pleasure of being at the public gallery at Westminster when the House of Commons voted their final YES EEC and ever after as well as before that historic date, I keep informed about Britain's doings in this matter - as I feel it was a curse upon your country, that yes-vote. By the way, our country has been dragged into the EEC silently.

It is due to my experience over here and abroad that I wonder whether even you are up with the actual history of the European Movement: which powers were behind its main architect (Joseph H. Retinger, a very unknown person as for modern history, yet he being the main inspirator of every congress since that in The Hague, 1948 to mention just one job) and how the various activities organised by that sinister Polish gentleman developed. As I recently wrote a booklet into Dutch on this subject (whereas it took a lot of trouble to get the information, I have collected facts which are really astonishing as you will see later) I will just mention some points which you may find of importance.

HISTORY OF THE EUROPEAN MOVEMENT

Joseph H. Retinger, born 1888 at Cracow; a strict R.C. family. Intended to be a priest but as "the world is more interesting than the hereafter" he left his studies for the priesthood, went to the Sorbonne at Paris and finished his philological studies over there. In 1911 Retinger goes to London to work for the National Polish Council and then starts his political career. During World War I he travels frequently between London and Paris and busily mediates in the war conflict together with Prince Sixte of Bourbon Parma and the general of the Jesuits, the Pole Count Ledochowski. By the way, Count Ledochowski is known by his "Habsburg" - or "Ledochowski" - plan, e.g. a future federation of European countries of the R.C. religion was going to get a Habsburg prince as head. But that plan did not materialise . . . until: last December 1978 there was a special commemoration meeting in the historic Parliament building in The Hague, organised by the "Pan-Europa-Union" of Count Coudenhove-Kalergi, founded in 1923. The main speaker was: Otto of Habsburg who is destined to take the lead over that extreme part of the movement for European Unity. And Otto of Habsburg is moreover the chairman of the documentation centre of OPUS DEI in Barcelona!

To return to Retinger, due to intrigues (as he says himself) he has to leave Europe and at last arrives in Mexico where he gets friendly with Luis Morones the later socialist leader over there. Retinger organises Mexican Labour and is being asked by Mexico to mediate again, this time between American oil companies and Mexico. He also visits Rome to try and get the relationship between the pope and Mexico more tight. That is about 1925.

After much travelling on behalf of Mexico, he at last leaves for the USA where he arrives after having been put in prison by the Americans first. He goes to his friend Felix Frankfurter whom helps Retinger to a new Polish Passport (and Frankfurter was a member of CFR as well as a friend of Alger Hiss and Dean Acheson), and then Rettinger starts travelling to Europe again. But apart from his activities on behalf of the "victims" of Pilsudski of Poland, and of international socialism, he already started another activity, e.g. of European Unity. In 1920 already he discusses the opportunities of a European Federation with some intimate friends whereas in 1924 he tries for the first time to start a secret Organisation to work for European unity; but due to the death of his future father-in-law and confidential agent in this job, E. D. Morel of London (1925), he temporarily has to stop these activities.

HIS DREAM

During World War 2 Retinger becomes the right hand man of the Polish general-in-exile Sikorski at London and apart from many war-activities over there, Retinger starts his European dream once again. Thus he organises the various Ministers of Foreign Affairs who have settled in London during the war, at regularly held meetings at which a European Union is being discussed. And so we see together, often at a lunch in Claridges, representatives from Eastern European countries like Count Raczynski, Masaryk, Hubert Ripka and Nincic, together with those from the West like Paul H. Speak, Van Kieffens, Bech, Lie, Dejean and Massegli. Anyway, during the war it is a busy time in London for the various political leaders and when the Dutch Prince Bernhard is going to be the chairman at the monthly lunch at Claridges this can be seen as a forerunner of the future Bilderberg Movement (which was also started by Retinger).

Thanks to those contacts, the Benelux union is started in 1944 at a special meeting in the Savoy hotel. Benelux-father: Retinger! Other advancements for European unity are in progress.

As soon as World War 2 is over, Retinger is present at a conference of Charham House, the subject being "A European Continent"? and right after that, he leaves for Brussels (early May 1946) where another job is waiting for him. E.g. Retinger starts, together with the Belgian minister Paul van Zeeland the European League of economical co-operation, but although its name is "European", Americans are welcome too. Then Retinger starts travelling again to organise national branches of the ELEC, and in Britain Harold Butler and Macmillan, together with one or two other people, get the lead while in France it is a.o. Giscard d'Estaing and Debre. Apart from the ELEC, many other movements for European unity are being started.

CONGRESSES

It is also the period of congresses. In 1947 at Montreaux the Federalists have their big congress whereas Retinger is making preparations by then for the huge Congress of Europe in The Hague which is being held May 1948 and from which resolutions specially nr. 7 is important: The Creation of a United Europe has to be seen as a step to the ultimate aim of a United World.

And also important is the quotation from one of the contemporaries "people spoke about the St. Bartholomew of national sovereignity" (Jean-Pierre Gouzy in "Les Peinniers de l'Europe Communautaire"). Apart from Retinger another 700 people from the leading circles were present, among them being of course Winston Churchill, Adenauer, Spaak, Hallstein, De Caperi, Duncan Sandys, Brugmans, Eden and Bertrand Russell. There were "Syndicalists and papists, Lords and travaillists, bishops and anarchists" all united in "one and the same European Enthusiasm" - but it is nevertheless Retinger who tells what has to be said and done, and it is also Retinger who "manipulates Churchill's European Movement" in such a way that it is not longer Churchill but it is Retinger who tells which course has to be taken! And these are the words of Retinger's biographer. And Denis de Rougemont tells us that the Congress of Europe of 1948 "was the personal work of Retinger" - yet hardly anybody knows about this man. Then, exactly 9 months afterwards the Council of Europe is born thanks to Retinger's constant work; but he goes on and transforms the International Committee of the Movements for a United Europe into the European Movement, and becomes its first secretary-general. Actually it was the Council of Europe which started the European Parliament!

ROME'S INVOLVEMENT

I can go on as Retinger's activities on behalf of European unity went on till his death in 1960, but it would take at least another page to do it even cable-style. I have to mention another aspect of his work, e.g. his contacts with Rome in order to use ecumenism as another means of achieving a United Europe. Thus he gets in touch with Sir Stafford Cripps and Lord Halifax of Christian Action and then with Canon Collins. With the latter he goes to Rome to see the pope (Pius XII) whereas the latter pope Paul IV is present - at the discussions as well. A second visit to Rome is made but then the wind has turned against Retinger: for Archbishop Fisher of Canterbury has warned Rome that something will go wrong and no papal co-operation can be expected for Retinger from then on; ecumenism was not ripe enough yet! Then the Jesuits get the order to supervise matters on Europe and when in Spring 1974 the Roehampton Conference on "Christians and the EEC" is being held, it was the Jesuits who supervised every part; even the Jesuit Press Officer from London (Mr. Hugh Kay) had to be present at Roehampton in order to act as sole information officer on behalf of the general press! It was striking that this fact was not mentioned in the press after all as the information was not complete now. By the way, I was one of a few observers at that Congress and I did learn quite a bit about the actual intentions of "Europe".

So much so about Retinger and his life-long work. I myself am doing what I can to make known what really is behind Europe and I could mention the proper sources if wanted. I do pray meanwhile that if it is the Lord's will, Britain at last may be saved from going the European track any longer and with that purpose I have written this long letter. To complete information about my stand, I enclose some duplicate copies of Open Letters written on behalf of the Ulster Protestants. I hope to embark to visit them mid-May, G.W.

According to the editor, G.W. stands for Miss Taverne. The booklet she claims to have written about Retinger seems to be difficult to find. I'll keep on looking for it.

Royal Blood

Sometimes I like to play with words. I am living in Spain, a country known for its influence in the development of the catholic church. Inquisition was a well known spanish activity long before Hitler and his companions decided to clean the world. Is it a coincidence that German army boys were of great help in pre-Franco's Spain?

The game with words has to do with the spanish translation of Royal Blood: Sangre Real.

Let us go back to the inquisition. Not the Spanish one, but the one against "liberation movements" in the south of France, the one of 1184. "Ad abolidam" opened the war against terrorism, in those days called heresy. Among the extremely dangerous groups were the Cathars, Humilati and Arnoldists.

Those groups were not without criticism against the papal leadership from Rome, so Rome came with a strategy to unite its flock in a struggle against those terrorists. And this is where the royal blood came in, the holy blood, the blood of Jesus Christ. Those damned heretics were endangering the power of Rome! What is the most powerful weapon in a war against this form of terrorism, in a time that mass destruction and mass communication did not yet exist? What could be more powerful than the blood of Jesus Christ himself?

A war against those who did not respect the leadership of Rome could be most effective if it would be in the name of protection! Protection of the holy blood, protection of the royal blood, protection of el Sangre Real!

People in those days communicated with the spoken word, the written word was only for the happy few. It is not so strange that Sangre Real was changed into San Gréal and subsequently travelled to England as the Holy Grail, the dish that was used by Jesus during his last supper.

Needless to repeat all the tales, stories, books and later movies that were made up to justify the travels to the Holy Land with the liberty to destroy everyone and everything on the way to the salvation of the Holy Grail.

Royal blood lead to many wars, like the San Gréal did. The Holy Grail was a nice excuse to conquer the world, they called it a "crusade", it maybe is the oldest conspiracy theory and it might be still valid today.

The establishment of the state of Israel might even fit into it and wouldn't that explain why the strong believers in the USA are so in favor of its existence? The Holy Land came under their control over the blood of those who were the victims of the Nazis. How much more powerful is the blood of 6 million compared to the blood of one?

The war was won in 1948. Or is it still going on? Was the word "crusade" incidentally chosen by George W. Bush before the US attacked Iraq?

Two weeks later

No, it was not because of the censorship I discovered with Google. I just wanted to disconnect for a while.

And, it is possible that I was terribly wrong about the censorship. The link I created in an earlier post to some names now brings you back again to this Blog. Were Google's search engines just misinformed for sometime? Or did they see that they were doing things wrong? I will never know. But anyway, the world just keeps on turning on its axis.

Today I could say a lot about the financial crisis that comes closer to its end every day. I could predict how this will change the world and maybe one of these days I am going to do that.

I could say a lot about the sudden increase of terrorist activities in the world. I could mention that suppression in the name of liberty only benefits by it. I could say that therefore the terrorist might not be the one that journalists want us to believe he is. I could say that behind the journalist other powers might be the steering forces. Maybe one day I will do it.

I could write about the plague of our modern world, the power of advertising. I could say that everything we see, everything we read, everything we hear is just meant to attract our attention and that the real messages are in the advertisements around the theme.

I could say that advertising companies are playing in service of global powers. I could say that the only power of a tv station is in its public and I could say that therefore the public has the power. I could say it, but the public is not listening anyway and they don't want to be bothered with that power.

I could say that ..........

I could say so many things and that is why I am writing this blog. One day I will say them but as long as I do not get a public, nobody will care. Nobody will listen.

Do I really have to show pictures of actresses showing their most private spots? Do I have to show horrible pictures with dying people to attract attention? Is this the way to bring my message to the world?

If you can't beat them, join them. Do what they do to bring the message. Tell who does it and with whom, make the story sensational, shock. Today everything is about the way the message is packed and the message works on the background.

There used to be a simple word for this: mass manipulation. But is it not only stupidity? Berlusconi is a superstar, think about what Hitler would have been with todays power of mass communication. He would have been the greatest hero of all time!

I could have written about all this, but I prefer just to be disconnected from the world for a short time. Things are changing anyway, with or without my message.

Is Google pulling some strings?

Today Google has drawn my attention to something I never even was thinking about before. In one of my previous articles I wrote about freedom of speech. I also mentioned something about freedom of information.

How about freedom of search?

My Blog is hosted by Google. I never doubted them for one second. But then something strange happened with a link I made in the article I wrote about "pulling some strings". The first thing I noted was that, after adding the link, my Blog suddenly appeared as numer one of the search results. So, the link to a Bilderberg Conspiracy Theorist website just dropped down to number 11 of the results. I adapted the text therefore a little bit.

Today I tried the link again and saw to my surprise that my Blog was not longer found. Ofcourse I felt slightly disappointed and I wanted to change my text once more. I expected a result on number 10 that would refer again to the Bilderberg Conspiracy Site. But that reference had disappeared as well. Searching between next 30 results, the only conclusion I could draw is that even searches are being controlled. I was truly amazed. I would have expected monitoring but censorship????

So, I am going to do an experiment now with different Google sites. I am curious what will happen.

They all seem to use the same database and more or less the same search path. No strange things. But remember the link I mentioned in the Blog about "Pulling some Strings" to AOL. They are "enhanced by" Google as they say. To my surprise I get different results. As it is today, this Blog is number one and on number 3 a link to some Bilderberg site. Will this change pretty soon too?

I just clicked the fourth link again (Belgium). It opened with the known results, but subsequently I hit the search button again without changing anything. And got different results ........?? Is this a bug?

As you can see, I changed the browser too (Google Chrome), just to eliminate the possibility of cookies. Google, I am enjoying your hospitality, I love your products and I will not start some deep investigation about this subject. As I already believe that you always have to check and doublecheck, finding out about censorship does not surprise me too much and the internet (at this moment) still gives us some freedom to find what we are looking for without being manipulated too much.

The best proof is that you are reading this. But I agree with the composer of this website:

Joseph Conrad (1857-1924)

He left us some remarkable novels, some of them leading to important Holywood productions. Francis Ford Coppola transposed his "Heart of Darkness" with great success in time and place. The situation that was described by Conrad as a consequence of the Belgian behavior in Congo was changed to consequences of USA behavior in Vietnam and Cambodja. A century of difference and placing it at the other side of the world did not deminish the power of "The Horror".

Joseph Conrad was an adventurous guy. A remarkable man who was attracted by the sea and wanted to discover the world but as a consequence of that discovered his talent for writing and gave up the sea.

His novels are, like most ones, based on his experiences. Jospeh Conrad was a thinker and had a tendency towards conspiracy thinking. The brutal way of declaring Congo to his private property by Leopold II of Belgium and the consequences of this can still be seen today. It most certainly must have shocked Joseph Conrad while being there. The Anglo-Belgian rubber trade most probably can be seen as one of the seeds for his conspiracy thinking.

Again a quote from wikipedia:

"Writing during the apex of the British Empire, Conrad drew upon his experiences serving in the French and later the British Merchant Navy to create novels and short stories that reflected aspects of a world-wide empire while also plumbing the depths of the human soul."

Reading about Joseph Conrad you get the impression that it was an introvert man with very little friends. But he had at least one friend. Another Polish man who became of great importance for the world. This man, Józef Hieroniem Retinger, honored Joseph Conrad with a book: "Conrad and His Contemporaries" (London: Minerva, 1941; New York: Roy, 1942).

The friendship between those two extraordinary men seems to be remarkable because of their difference in age, but Retinger (1888-1960) was a man who extremely easy made friends. Not just friends, the mighty of the earth as well as the creative of the earth could be seen with him.

Józef Teodor Konrad Korzeniowski, a Polish novelist, was born in 1857 and died in 1924.

Conspiracy theories (1)

The easy way to disarm a theory is to call it a conspiracy theory. Just by classifying it like this it becomes less true. It becomes an idea of paranoid minds. It is a proven technique to manipulate the "wistle blowers" into a position that nobody wants to be in: they become the defenders of phantoms, the victims of their own mind, the victims of paranoia. Those who want to be taken seriously will reject the theory from the moment the words "conspiracy theory" are mentioned.

Nevertheless there is a whole list of socalled "conspiracy theories" that have been proven to be true. One of the best known is the Watergate Scandal. Others are the use of Sarin gas in Tokio and the Manson murders (mostly known because of the murder on Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski's wife, and her friends).

Next to the Watergate Scandal, a few interesting proven theories related to state controlled manipulation are: the Mockingbird affair, the Lavon Affair, the Gulf of Tonkin incident, the Iran-Contra affair and the very interesting Operation Northwoods.

• Bombing of innocent citizens
• Use of phony evidence

A plan from 1962 to convince (not only) the American Citizens about the evil intentions of Cuba. Just a way to get their support for "needed actions".

Sounds familiar to me.

Bilderberg Group

Searching on the Internet you will find a lot of garbage about any given subject. Your Internet search will seldomly reveal the universal truth. The Bilderberg group is no exception on this rule of thumb.

Some things are sure. The Bilderberg Group has a yearly meeting and the origin of the name can be found in a Dutch hotel. It is a meeting of the most powerful people in politics, business, finance and press. 

But think about it. If there is so much conspiracy thinking about this group, wouldn't it be easier for the real puppet players to have their meetings elsewhere? 

Come on, if the Bilderbergers would be the puppet players, they are not very smart. At best, or should I say at worst, the Bilderbergers are a group of people to distract attention. Would you invite regular politicians, journalists and business men if you had a hidden plan with the world? Do you really believe that those people will take a devilish oath before they are allowed in?

Yes, the ego of invited people is honored enormously. Yes, they will want to keep it mysterious to increase their own importance. But please, be serious, they are not part of a conspiracy against anything.

I will not outrule the possibility that some off the invited world leaders might have a meeting about other subjects when the regular people are not present. But to do this at the same place, at the same time would be silly.

No, the Bilderbergers might be genuinely occupied with our world. If you want to look for a conspiracy you will have to look better!

Pulling some strings

Since the establishment of the VOC, we, the Dutch, although living in a land reclaimed from the sea, want to believe that we are the origin of everything. So, could we be pulling some strings?



We desperately deny to be patriots; we will kick against Shell, Philips, Unilever, ING, TNT, Heineken etc., and we only feel slightly hurt at the moment KLM becomes part of Air France. Our national pride is in football, as long as they win.


The multinationals that I mentioned before are pretty mighty but others in the world are more, so we can eliminate the idea of a single puppet player from Dutch origin. Nevertheless, the combination of these mighty multinationals in a tiny country is at least remarkable.


Money always rules. Thinking about money, people in the Netherlands don't immediately think about Bill Gates, probably they will think about their royal family. The family Van Oranje. But still, if money would rule the world, Bill Gates would probably have a bigger chance than Beatrix. And although officially unknown, the Rotschilds probably even have more money to rule.


Let us see how we can bring these names together with Google.

Strange thing happened. Clicking on above link does not longer show my blog as first item. Many other links are shown now. The Bilderberg link also disappeared. Am I seeing things thate are not there? Today I cliked on the link above and added manually "AKZO" to it. Bilderberg came up as number 3. Should I start investigating Google's search techniques a little bit more?

... minutes after having written above lines, I checked again. In the search results of Google, the link to a site about Bilderberg that I do not want to be associated with, has gone again. It is of no importance for my thoughts, it is merely strange. I am intrigued.... Other search engines (MSN, WikiSearch, Yahoo, AOL, Ask, Altavista) bring me immediately in connection with the link I found before on Google. Hey Google guys.....what are you doing? (Might this be the answer to my question?)

Oops, back to Dutch roots! Could they really be pulling the strings? How do bread and games come together?

The chronology of things

Just for refreshing the memory. This is how CNN has summarized 9/11. Two important things should be noted.

1. CNN was the organization that got "proof" of the hi-jacking through a phone conversation between its reporter Tim Obrien and the husband of Barbara Olsen. Obrien reported about this conversation on 9/11. Olson had told him about his conversation with his wife, a CNN reporter (!). Barbara Olsen reported to her husband how the plane was hi-jacked and asked him what she could say to pilot. This was one of the big scoops of the day. It supported the hi-jack theory. Mysteriously this report is not mentioned in the chronology. The report did exist and can be found on You Tube. An earlier report was given by phone.

The phone conversation was denied by FBI and Pentagon only months later, but it had served its goal to inform the world about the hi-jack. Might that be the reason it is not in CNN's chronology?

2. Something that is mentioned but has nothing to do with the actual things that happened on 9/11 seems to be important to make us see connections:

"6 p.m.: Explosions are heard in Kabul, Afghanistan, hours after terrorist attacks targeted financial and military centers in the United States. The attacks occurred at 2:30 a.m. local time. Afghanistan is believed to be where bin Laden, who U.S. officials say is possibly behind Tuesday's deadly attacks, is located. U.S. officials say later that the United States had no involvement in the incident whatsoever. The attack is credited to the Northern Alliance, a group fighting the Taliban in the country's ongoing civil war."

CNN reports, the world listens and is deliberately being led to conclusions.

How about the passport that was found on the ground close to the Twin Towers?

"Al-Suqami's passport was found by a passerby, reportedly in the vicinity of Vesey Street, before the towers collapsed. (This was mistakenly reported by many news outlets to be Mohammed Atta's passport.) Some news organizations openly doubted the authenticity of this report, questioning whether a paper passport could survive the inferno unsinged when the plane's black boxes were never found. According to testimony before the 9/11 Commission by lead counsel Susan Ginsburg, his passport had been "manipulated in a fraudulent manner in ways that have been associated with al Qaeda." In the heat of things people might misinterprete things. First it was the passport of Mohammed Atta, later it is someone elses. Subsequently, when people start doubting that a passport could have survided the crash, it is supposed to be seen as the signature of Al Qaeda, deliberately frauded with and left at the place where it was found to proof they did it.

Whatever happened, it served its goal: bringing the story into the world. And the world wanted an explanation. Finding arabic flight manuals in the abandoned car of Mohammed Atta was just another step. The rest of the story is known and lead to a total sacrification of the freedom of the western world and a war that is still going on in Afghanistan. (Did women get liberated or are they still waring Burkas? Are the Buddha statues being restored? Does a central government have some power now? Are human rights being respected better?)

Q Five, and Jordan is in 3rd grade. And Jordan has a question, if I could give him the microphone.
THE PRESIDENT: You bet. Your mother is relaying the Mike to you, Jordan.
Q One thing, Mr. President, is that you have no idea how much you've done for this country. And another thing is that, how did you feel when you heard about the terrorist attack? (Applause.)

The president answers to a kid and adapts:

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you, Jordan. Well, Jordan, you're not going to believe what state I was in when I heard about the terrorist attack. I was in Florida. And my Chief of Staff, Andy Card -- actually, I was in a classroom talking about a reading program that works. I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower -- the TV was obviously on. And I used to fly, myself, and I said, well, there's one terrible pilot. I said, it must have been a horrible accident.
But I was whisked off there, I didn't have much time to think about it. And I was sitting in the classroom, and Andy Card, my Chief of Staff, who is sitting over here, walked in and said, "A second plane has hit the tower, America is under attack."
And, Jordan, I wasn't sure what to think at first. You know, I grew up in a period of time where the idea of America being under attack never entered my mind -- just like your Daddy's and Mother's mind probably. And I started thinking hard in that very brief period of time about what it meant to be under attack. I knew that when I got all of the facts that we were under attack, there would be hell to pay for attacking America. (Applause.)
I tried to get as many facts as I could, Jordan, to make sure I knew as I was making decisions that I knew exactly what I was basing my decisions on. I've got a fabulous team. A President can't possibly be President without a good team. It starts with having a great wife, by the way. (Applause.)
And so, I got on the phone from Air Force One, asking to find out the facts. You've got to understand, Jordan, during this period of time, there were all kinds of rumors floating around. Some of them were erroneous. Obviously -- for example, there was a news report saying that the State Department had been attacked. I needed to know what the facts were. But I knew I needed to act. I knew that if the nation's under attack, the role of the Commander-In-Chief is to respond forcefully to prevent other attacks from happening. And so, I've talked to the Secretary of Defense; one of the first acts I did was to put our military on alert.
An interesting thing happened shortly thereafter. Condoleezza Rice -- who was not with me but was with the Vice President because they were in the White House compound -- called me on Air Force One after that, and said that she had gotten a call from Russia, from Vladimir Putin, who understood why we were putting our troops on alert, and, therefore, wasn't going to respond. That was an important phone call. Because when I was coming up, and a lot of other older-looking people here who were coming up with me -- (laughter) -- that would never have happened in the past. An alert by the United States would have caused Russia to go on alert, which would have created a complicated situation. But that wasn't the case.
By the way, we're heading into a new era. One of the positive things that comes out of the evil was, we're reassessing relationships in order to make the world more peaceful. I believe it's important for us to have positive relations with our former enemy and to rethink the defenses of the United States of America. (Applause.)
At any rate, I knew I had a job to do. And I was quoted in the press the other day as saying I haven't regretted one thing I've decided. And that's the truth. Every decision I made, I stand by. And I'm proud of the decisions I've made. (Applause.)

A blooper or a fact? The president is telling the world, and every word is officially reported thanks to US laws and regulations, that he actually SAW the FIRST plane hit the tower.

What does this mean? Why were cameras in a position so that the president could see a plane crashing into a building? How could it be possible that the president was seeing it while waiting to attend a meeting in a school? Was the president informed through a closed circuit ?

WHY DID THE PRESIDENT SEE THE RECORDING AT THE MOMENT IT HAPPENED?

Do you still want me to believe their version of the truth? I believe that Al Qaeda's date of establishment is the 9th of September 2001. "The Base" is the translation of "Al Qaeda".

Only outside the United States? I feel there is something missing in the motives. What happened with the 9/11 thing?

I am lost. The APA and ATA offer 2 million dollars on top of the 25 from the USA. But why? Because of the thing he is not even officially accused for?

Who doubts about the idea that oil might have been an important issue in big world conflicts? How did the oil prices impact our daily life during this year?

Does the price of oil justify wars? Or do wars justify the prices of oil? Who benefits most from high oil prices? Is it OPEC?

An old saying is that one fool can ask more questions than seven wise men can answer. And all my questions can actually be concentrated into one: "Who is pulling the strings?"

And at the same time I'm asking it I can give the answer: Many, many people are pulling strings all of the time to achieve their goals. Sometimes I try to pull some strings myself.

Is there one universal or global goal that someone is trying to control? And if so, what could it be? Just for power? Nobody is that sick! Unless someone who is looking for the ultimate suicide: being killed by others who do not agree with you. Die like a hero.
